Our commitment

VALIDEI is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We work to continually improve the user experience for everyone, and we apply relevant accessibility standards to make sure we provide equal access to all users.

Conformance status

This website is designed to broadly align with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at the AA level. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities and more usable for everyone.

We consider this site to be substantially conformant with WCAG 2.1 AA. Some content may not yet fully conform; where we are aware of issues, we list them below and are working to address them.

Accessibility features

  • Semantic HTML structure with a single <main> landmark and ordered headings.
  • A “Skip to content” link for keyboard users.
  • Full keyboard navigability with a visible focus indicator on all interactive elements.
  • Descriptive link and button text; icon-only controls include accessible names.
  • Meaningful alt text on informative images; decorative images are hidden from assistive tech.
  • Color contrast ratios that meet or exceed WCAG 2.1 AA for body text and UI controls.
  • Respects the operating system “reduced motion” preference; non-essential animations are disabled when requested.
  • Responsive layouts that work at 200% browser zoom and on small viewports.
  • Form controls (where present) use associated labels and clear error messaging.
  • External links open in a new tab with rel="noopener noreferrer" and are announced as such.

Compatibility

The site is designed to be compatible with recent versions of major browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) and to work with assistive technologies including screen readers (VoiceOver, NVDA, JAWS, TalkBack), keyboard-only navigation, browser zoom, and operating-system text-size and contrast settings.

Known limitations

Despite our efforts, some content may have limitations:

  • Linked PDF research reports may not be fully tagged for screen readers. If you need an accessible version of a specific report, contact us and we will provide one.
  • Some third-party destinations linked from this site (newsletter platform, scheduling, LinkedIn) are outside our control and may have their own accessibility profiles.

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of this site. If you encounter a barrier, need information in an alternative format, or have suggestions for how we can improve, please contact us:

We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within 10 business days.
